Information
Dim and boost function
Now you have full control of the light cycle and the output power of all your fixtures from a single point. You do not need to turn on or adjust each lamp separately.
Independent light cycles on the EL2
Allowing to have 2 different and overlapping cycles to be programmed, for example: 12/12 on channel 1 and 18/6 on channel 2.
EC fan control
With the help of the new EL2F controller, you can also control your EC fans with an intelligent PID control system.
Modern EC fans contain a brushless DC motor, which is powered by a controllable electronic driver. They offer a great control range while maintaining power, torque, and static pressure, at much lower energy use.
With the EL2F Master controller, you can regulate your extraction and intake fans at once. This little intelligent controller can control them all, more precise, quieter and with a much better performance.
EL2F uses PID control, It is a control algorithm which is used in industrial control processes to provide the most accurate and stable process temperatures and flows. The PID control reduces oscillation and is self-learning, based on continuously measuring the effect of any changes in temperature and fan speed. The result is an absolute stable temperature in your grow room and a quiet fan.
AC fan control
If you're using an older type of AC fan, Gavita has a smart AC fan control module for ELF drivers that will control your current AC fans as efficiently and silently as possible. The EFM can be connected between the power outlet and the fan, and a simple signal cable is enough to control it from the EL2F
Easy installation
Full plug-and-play installation. Each E-series fixture is supplied with all necessary installation cables.
Easy programming
The Master Controllers are extremely easy to set-up. The two-line green OLED display is sharp and easy to read.
You can choose out of 5 different languages.
Non-volatile memory
All master controllers use dependable, non-volatile memory to store user settings. In this way you don't loose your settings during a power outage.
Event logging
All master controllers now have logging functions for high/low temperature, last auto-dim event, last shutdown event and last power loss, including the event’s date and time.
Sunrise / Sunset function
Set the rise and fall time (0-30 min) to simulate sunrise and sunset
Automatic dim function
Your lamps will automatically dim when your climate control is no longer able to maintain the correct temperature. These features will keep your crop safe.
Crop protection - automatic shutdown
In the event of a cooling or ventilation failure, the main controller automatically turns off the lighting, preventing direct damage to the crop (or plant fire).
ECM interface contact
For the Master Controller Gavita has developed an external contactor module ECM1. Because the Master Controller operates on a low output voltage, there for it needs an external contact module to switch auxiliary devices.
With the ECM1 you can extend the functionality of your Master Controller to switch auxiliary devices such as heaters, dehumidifiers and CO2 equipment when turning the light ON or OFF according to the hours set on the Master Controller.
Alarm contact
The controller has two alarm contacts labeled A-NC (normally closed) and A-NO (normally open). When the temperature is turned off, the sensor fails or there is a power failure. Both pairs of terminals can be connected to an alarm module that send you a text message.
