BioCanna Bio Terra PLUS, a Canna organic substrate mix, is a rich, 100% ORGANIC, highly aerated soil of the highest purity class, specifically designed for indoor growing. Composition: high-quality peat, bark, high-quality coconut fiber. Features of BioCanna Bio Terra PLUS soil: - has all the necessary certificates for organic cultivation - contains a mixture of purified soil, white peat (acts as perlite), compost, worm humus, and a special starter portion of nutrients - is free from pests, weeds, and diseases - contains 75% organic additives - pH: 5.5-6.5, EC: 1.1-1.3 mS/cm - quantity: 50 liters Thanks to CANNA Research, we have managed to develop certified organic soil that meets international organic standards. Bio Terra Plus is composed of 100% natural materials and is therefore suitable for organic cultivation. Biocanna Terra Plus substrate is composed of the highest quality peat, including the highest quality white peat. The airy structure of the white peat is complemented by shredded tree bark, which has natural antifungal properties. BIO CANNA Bio Terra Plus contains only organic fertilizers of plant origin, which are released according to the plant's needs. This ensures that the plant always receives the optimal amount of nutrients. High-quality peat: The peat used is of the highest quality and can only be found in a few places in the world. The longer peat fiber structures in Bio Terra Plus are significantly lighter, which is an absolute advantage for the plant. Unlike cheaper versions, it is much lighter. Bark: The bark we use has special properties. Low-quality bark can often cause negative mold growth. The bark used in Bio Terra Plus has antiseptic properties! High-quality coconut fiber. Bio Terra Plus also uses coconut fiber – Canna Coco. Certified, balanced biological fertilization, enriched with beneficial soil bacteria, creates a beneficial symbiosis for the plant: fewer soil diseases, improved nutrient release and absorption, and better and healthier plant development. Self-regulation and the slow-release effect in Biocanna Terra. Canna Bio Terra Plus is a pre-fertilized substrate mix. The amount of this pre-fertilizer utilized by the soil depends on the level of nutrient application. Bio Terra Plus regulates this itself. Therefore, when you apply less nutrients, it will use more pre-fertilizer, and when you apply more nutrients, the amount of pre-fertilizer needed will decrease. Pre-fertilization remains present in the soil even if it is not (directly) needed; the soil will retain the pre-fertilization for when it is needed. Self-regulation does not depend on the added water, but on climatic temperatures. Slow-release fertilizer gradually releases usable fertilizer from the organic complexes and molecules contained in the substrate to meet the plant's needs through a kind of decomposition process. This process slows down when directed directly at nutrients, where absorption occurs from the growing medium—and vice versa. Protection against potential errors: Due to self-regulation and the slow-release effect, it's difficult to make serious mistakes when fertilizing plants! As described above, the soil itself can adjust its nutrient schedule if necessary.
