To perform an accurate measurement: 1. Take a soil sample (300-400 g), remove any pebbles, blades of grass, roots, leaves, etc. 2. Pour soil into a 0.5 L jar and add a small amount of water to moisten it. 3. Carefully wipe the meter tip with a rough paper towel or brush and insert the probe into the prepared soil sample. 4. After 60 seconds, read the measurement value indicated on the device's scale. No more batteries! If, like us, you constantly forget to buy batteries for your devices, we have good news for you! Our pH Meter works WITHOUT BATTERIES and is incredibly handy! Its dimensions are 6 x 4 x 26.5 cm. Solid construction. The pH meter consists of a probe made of copper and(?)/aluminum and a housing made of green ABS plastic! It allows for measurements on a scale of 3 pH to 10 pH.
