Biovita Coconut Chips Briquettes Coco Chips 4.5kg - Coconut briquettes Coco chips briquettes (pH 5.5-6.5) are a natural product made by crushing coconut shells and fibers, compressed into briquettes. They are free from any chemical additives. They have a wide range of uses in gardening and terrariums. 100% environmentally friendly! Cube dimensions: approx. 30x30x13cm. Uses: - as an enrichment for other substrates, especially recommended for orchid cultivation, - as a top layer or mulch, - as mulch in terrariums and aquariums. Benefits: - when mixed with soil, they loosen and aerate it, - reduce watering frequency, - regulate the substrate's water balance, - create optimal conditions for root development, - are biodegradable. How to use (loosening the briquette with water): 1. Place the cube in a suitable container, approx. 70L, 2. Add water, approx. 18L, 3. Wait until the cube of chips swells and loosens.
