Opis produktu
Opis produktu
Biovita Horticultural Vermiculite 1-5mm Horticultural vermiculite (expanded) 1-5mm is a mineral, hydrated magnesium aluminum silicate, yellow-brown in color. Its basic form is mined in vermiculite mines. The material is heat-treated, after which it acquires useful properties suitable for horticulture. It is a lightweight granulate with sorption properties and is insoluble in water, making it particularly valuable for cultivation. Benefits of use: - for hydroponic cultivation (as a soilless substrate), - as a substrate component, combined with peat or composted pine bark. Mixed with soil, it loosens and aerates it. This treatment is especially recommended for heavy soils. Furthermore, vermiculite absorbs water along with nutrients and gradually releases them. This mixture provides optimal conditions for the development of plant root systems, - as a substrate in terrariums and aquariums, especially for the cultivation and breeding of exotic plants and animals, - as a ground cover for storing plant bulbs. Place the bulbs in a container and cover them with vermiculite. Vermiculite acts as a regulator, preventing the appearance of mold from moisture during storage, - as a component of a substrate for mushroom cultivation. Areas of use: - agriculture and horticulture - substrate for hydroponics, substrate additive, ground cover - terrariums and aquaria - substrate - construction - insulating material, component of lightweight concrete - industry - pollutant absorber
