The Original Can Lite Carbon Filter is a basic carbon filter designed to purify air and combat undesirable odors in grow rooms and other small grow rooms, shops, bars, kitchens, bathrooms, and more. The manufacturer's extensive experience has resulted in the development of LITE VIRGIN ACTIVATED CARBON activated carbon. It is designed for long-term operation in high-performance ventilation systems. The activated carbon production process meets the requirements for grain size and physicochemical characteristics. The Can Lite activated carbon is created in exactly the same way as the Can Filter line. The only difference is the lower density of the activated carbon used. The design of Can Lite carbon filters is based on simple and proven components that meet stringent control requirements and customer expectations. The Can Lite carbon filter maximizes filter surface area, thus taking up less space. The carbon filter's design ensures its airtightness. It retains its key functions, namely, enabling specially prepared activated carbon to eliminate undesirable odors and purify the air. Can Lite filters can be refilled with activated carbon. While technically possible, it is not recommended to do it yourself at home. A carbon filter is a structure composed of several components, the key of which are air channels, which, under the influence of pressure and activated carbon, purify the air. If refilling is performed incorrectly, which the manufacturer states is impossible in a home environment, the air channels will not function across the entire surface of the carbon filter, but only in selected areas. This means that the carbon filter, once refilled, will only function to the extent that the air channels function properly. Therefore, the Can Lite is designed as a disposable filter with a high durability factor. This is crucial; you can expect consistent performance and long service life from Can Lite carbon filters. CAN Original carbon filters have the best service life parameters among carbon filters on the market. The primary distinguishing feature of Can Lite carbon filters is their ability to function effectively at a humidity of up to 75%. The Can Lite carbon filter meets equally high performance parameters within the maximum operating temperature range of 80°C. If any of these parameters are exceeded, the carbon filter continues to operate, but its lifespan is rapidly reduced. The Can Lite operates optimally for 12 to 18 months. However, this depends greatly on the fan selected and the diameter of the ventilation system ducts. The carbon filter lasts its lifespan if the fan used guarantees a constant pressure and if the diameter of the ventilation system ducts is not smaller than the flange of the selected Can Lite carbon filter. Installation of the Can Lite carbon filter is quick and easy. Can Lite Manufacturer's Recommendations: 1. When unpacking and installing the carbon filter, be careful not to damage or cut the white coating of the active filter. Any damage to the protective material will make the interior of the carbon filter more exposed to contaminants, which should be retained by the external filter. This will not damage the carbon filter, but will affect its lifespan and maintain the expected performance of the entire ventilation system. 2. If the planned ventilation system will incorporate various types of primary connections (between the filter and the fan) or additional connections (for example, reducing or expanding the diameter of ventilation ducts), it is worth ensuring that the connection point is filled with any airtight insulating material with good resistance to elevated temperatures and humidity. The material used will facilitate the tightness and strength of the connection itself. This is worth considering when individual components of the ventilation system are manufactured by different manufacturers. Small differences in the dimensions of the components used affect the efficiency and performance of the ventilation system.
