The WaterFarm is the first hydroponic system of its kind on the market. It was created 25 years ago by Lawrence Brooke, founder of General Hydroponic in California. Since 1975, thousands of these modules have been sold worldwide, providing complete user satisfaction. The WaterFarm provides superior performance while remaining reliable, easy to use, and compact. Plants are grown in a pot filled with clay beads. This "culture pot" is suspended above a reservoir full of nutrient solution. An air pump pumps the solution through a pumping column, then distributes it in a ring-shaped system. It then flows through the clay beads and falls back into the reservoir. The solution bathes healthy roots, which absorb nutrients most efficiently. This optimal power for achieving plant growth is unmatched. Waterfarm systems are tested for 1 to 10 plants per pot, depending on their size and the plants being grown. Dimensions: L: 30.5cm x W: 30.5cm x H: 37cm. Complete with pump and irrigation system, the Waterfarm is a simple-to-use and efficient hydroponic system, perfect for getting started with hydroponics. It can be quickly installed in any space, from greenhouses to kitchens and balconies. It can be used to grow ornamental and culinary plants of all sizes, from basil to small trees. The Waterfarm operates using only air to draw the nutrient solution from the reservoir and drip it back through the clay gravel substrate and roots. This simple, reliable design is extremely effective in delivering well-oxygenated nutrients to plants—exactly what they need for optimal growth and flowering. The two-piece design allows for easy access to the reservoir and root system, which can be difficult or impossible with other hydroponic systems.
