The Hercules Breathable Pot features specially profiled walls with holes, allowing plants to develop thicker and more branched roots. By choosing Hercules pots, your plants will have a significantly larger root mass, which directly impacts the quality and quantity of your crop. Specifications: Hercules 20L Round Pot: Diameter: 33cm, Bottom Diameter: 30.5cm, Height: 28cm. The Hercules Super-Root has unusual, profiled walls, a sort of egg carton configuration, consisting of cones enclosed inside and cones open outward. In traditional pots, the flat walls inside the container repel roots and trigger a spiral process in which the roots elongate without increasing root mass. The inner cones direct the roots outward, into the open cones, where, because the air density in the soil is too high, the roots dehydrate and stop elongating. In response, the plant sends a signal to grow its roots laterally to compensate for the loss, which leads to a thickening of the root system, resulting in a massive increase in root mass. The porosity of the Air-Pot also creates better conditions for bacterial activity, thus increasing the plant's nutrient supply.
