Hesi PowerZyme is a plant enhancer designed to optimize substrate quality. Substrate quality affects even the most developed root system. Roots require high oxygen levels and an environment rich in microorganisms and free from decay. The main ingredient in PowerZyme is a biotechnologically obtained extract of enzymes obtained from the Trichoderma fungus. These enzymes ensure that small, dead plant parts composed of cellulose are immediately broken down into their essential components. Cellulose components are sugar molecules that are used as food by both plants and microorganisms. Plant roots constantly renew their outer covering. Older cells are shed and replaced by new ones. The faster a root grows, the more old root material accumulates in the plant stem. Older plant parts contain mainly cellulose, which can only be broken down by specialized microorganisms. They convert it into plant-available, active carbohydrates, which the roots use directly as food. If a part of the plant (e.g., a leaf or root) is no longer needed, nutrients such as minerals are removed (which is why they turn yellow), leaving behind cellulose. The plant then discards the dead leaf or root. The plant constantly renews its cells, which explains why unprocessed cellulose remains in the stem, which becomes increasingly polluted. In nature, there are special microorganisms, especially fungi, that digest plant fibers with the help of enzymes. Hesi PowerZyme is an extract made from these special microorganisms and contains these same enzymes in their purest form. The greatest advantage of enzymes is that they prevent harmful microorganisms from disrupting healthy microflora. Gallery
