Lumatek has developed this reliable smart digital ballast, which has been successfully used in grow facilities worldwide. Utilizing square wave technology to efficiently fire and operate 315W ceramic metal halide lamps (also known as CMH/CDM/LEC), this ballast offers full-spectrum output with lower energy consumption, lower light output, higher PAR (Per Millimolar Par), and more UV-A and UV-B than traditional HID/HPS/MH fixtures. CMH technology delivers high PAR/PPF output with low heat across the full spectrum, closer to sunlight for healthier plant growth and higher yields. With a CRI (Color Rendering Index) of >90%, CMH is ideal for growing high-quality produce and extracting essential oils. The new addition of control features allows for intelligent monitoring of room temperature, burn time, automation, safety control, and dimming. Simply by connecting a Lumatek digital panel (sold separately) to the TRS "Link" port on the controllable ballast.
