Nutriculture NC Aero/Hydro Propagator X-Stream 120, 117 x 65 x h48 cm The X-Stream aeroponic propagator creates the perfect environment for reliable and rapid seedling cultivation. A mist prevents root rot and drying out and provides unlimited oxygen, large vents in the lid provide humidity control, and the heated version allows seedlings to be grown in unheated areas year-round. Because the mist is constant, there's no need to monitor water levels daily. A higher percentage of your seedlings will root (many growers report 100% success), and plants will grow faster and more resistant to stress and disease throughout their lives thanks to an incredibly healthy start. X-Stream aeroponic propagators have grooves in the lid that fit T5 propagation lamps like the Lumia or Secret Jardin. These nanotechnology-enhanced fluorescent lamps are powerful enough to be placed on propagator lids without risk of damage. Ventilation – when roots appear, slightly open the vents. Gradually increase the hole each day and completely remove the lid to harden for a few days before transplanting. You can still use rooting gels and powder. When the seedling is submerged, all active ingredients are immediately absorbed and will not be "washed away" by the mist. Transplanting to soil or coco coir: Remove the plant from the X-Stream when the roots begin to grow through the mesh pot. Plant in 3" or 4" pots and grow for a few days before transplanting. Transplanting to hydro: Remove the plant from the X-Stream when the roots have grown 3" to 4" from the bottom of the pot. Transplant directly into a hydro system. Transplanting to rockwool: Remove the plant from the X-Stream when the roots have grown 3" to 4" from the bottom of the pot. Punch a hole in the bottom of a 3" or 4" cube and insert the cutting between two halves of a Grodan SBS cube so that the roots emerge through the punched hole. Transplant immediately.
