DESCRIPTION: PLANT!T® Water Timer Irrigation Timer - Connects directly to mains water or gravity-fed systems. Water Timer - Irrigation Timer. Can be used directly with mains water or gravity-fed systems from a reservoir. This easy-to-use timer allows you to automate hose-end sprinklers, drip irrigation systems, and more to increase the consistency of your watering schedules. With unmatched reliability for season-long outdoor use, this professional-grade timer offers features that ensure hassle-free watering. Its key advantage is its ease of use. Simply select the intervals and duration of watering, and the timer does the rest. Ideal for watering gardens, lawns, shrubs, planters, hanging baskets, patios, rooftop gardens, and for vacations and holidays, it is weather-resistant. It features a safety valve that automatically shuts off when the battery charge is low. The controller also has a program delay button, which is used for maintenance and other tasks. How to do it? It's simple: turn the RUN TIME dial to the desired watering duration, then set the second FRAQUENCY dial, which is the watering frequency. The Water Timer is highly weather-resistant, with a fully enclosed dial. Powered by two 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries (not included), it has low energy consumption (all season, minimal runtime without the need to change batteries). Technical specifications: Designed for outdoor use with cold water only. Operating water pressure: 0 - 150 PSI / 0 - 10 bar Operating temperature: Protect from freezing - maximum temperature: 43 °C Connection: ¾ male / female tap / hose connector (includes required connectors) Inlet with F 3/4" internal thread Outlet with M 3/4" external thread Dimensions: 11 x 10 x 16.5 cm Water Timer settings: Frequency: selectable settings of 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, 24, 48, 72 hours, 1 week Operating time: 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes Specifications : PLANT!T Water timer Installing the batteries in the device Remove the front battery cover and install two 1.5v AAA alkaline batteries. Batteries MUST be alkaline. Do not use rechargeable batteries. Test the timer by turning the dial to the ON position. A delay of 1-5 seconds will occur. After this time, the valve will open. The battery indicator light will flash when the battery is in good condition. When the battery is low, the battery indicator light will remain lit and the valve will automatically shut off. When the battery is completely depleted, the battery indicator light will turn off. Replace the battery at the beginning of each season. PLANT!T Water Timer Installation The PLANTI Water Timer can be used with tap water, a gravity-fed irrigation system, or a reservoir. To fit your faucet, loosen the locking nut so it can turn freely, then connect the timer by securing the coupling nut to the faucet. Now tighten the locking nut by hand. Do not use tools; this may cause damage. When mounting to a water tank, follow the instructions in the illustration. Mount to the tank using the designated nut. Connect the programmer end with a quick connector or a 13mm coupler and connect to a 13mm irrigation tube (not included). You can then configure the irrigation device to any configuration using a 13mm (internal diameter) main tube. Programming 1. Set the FREQUENCY programmer to the desired cycle period, from 1 to 72 hours. Turn the dial to WEEK once a week. 2. Set the RUN TIME programmer to the desired number of hours, from one to 120 minutes. The device will not start until the next period begins. 3. Record the device programming date, frequency, and "RUN TIME" settings for your reference. 4. Replace the protective cover after programming the device. 5. You can delay the time at which the program starts the device using the "TIME DELAY" function. Using a pen or other thin object, press the "TIME DELAY" button for each hour you want to delay watering in hourly increments, up to a maximum of 12 hours. If you want a new cycle to start in 3 hours, set the timer and then press the "TIME DELAY" button three times. Note: The PLANT!T irrigation controller starts keeping time immediately after setting it. For example, if you want the timer to go off at 7 a.m., you must physically set the run time for that time of day. You can delay this initial setup time by up to 2 hours using the "TIME DELAY" button, so if it's 7 a.m. and you want the unit to start its program at 10 a.m., you press the "TIME DELAY" button three times for a 3-hour delay (see above). You can change the setting at any time, which will reset the unit. Use with cold water only Manual Operation You can turn your irrigation timer ON and OFF manually by turning the "RUN TIME" dial to OFF to suspend the current program without interrupting the set frequency. Turn the "RUN TIME" dial to ON to start watering, and to OFF to stop. Turn the dial back to the desired RUN TIME to continue the current program. If the irrigation timer will not be used for an extended period of time, remove the batteries and store the unit in a dry place. Troubleshooting If there is no water flow, check the following: 1. Make sure the water supply is turned on. 2. Check that the battery is in good condition and installed correctly. 3. Check that the frequency and run time are the same as noted. 4. Make sure the "FREQUENCY" setting is longer than the "RUN TIME". For example, you cannot set the FREQUENCY to 1 hour and set the RUN TIME to more than 60 minutes. 5. Protect the device and its parts from freezing. At the end of the season and before the first frost, unplug and store the timer in a dry place. The timer is waterproof, but not waterproof; do not place the timer where it will be submerged in water. It is best to install the timer above ground level. The timer has holes that drain moisture, allowing the drain holes to operate freely.
