Urban Jungle Bigos – Soil for Succulents and Cacti (5 L) Urban Jungle Bigos is a professional, ready-to-use soil designed specifically for growing succulents and cacti – plants that naturally grow in dry, nutrient-poor soils and require an exceptionally well-drained mix. Key features: Specialized use – ideal for succulents and cacti Light and airy structure – optimal aeration and protection against overwatering Long-term fertilization – Osmocote releases nutrients for up to 9 months Activated carbon – filters toxins, supports healthy root development Stable pH (6-7) and low salinity – a safe environment for plants Ready to use – simply moisten and plant immediately Safety confirmed – the product is registered with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development Uses: Ideal for repotting and growing succulents, cacti, and drought-tolerant plants. Also works well in potting mixes requiring a light and well-drained soil. The substrate's formula was developed to best replicate the natural environmental conditions of these plants. The substrate is based on 30% compost and peat, enriched with a mineral fraction that improves structure and breathability. This ensures continuous air circulation for the roots, and the substrate doesn't retain excess water, protecting the plants from overwatering and root rot. The addition of activated carbon filters harmful substances and improves water quality, while the controlled-release Osmocote fertilizer provides nutrients for up to 9 months, significantly reducing the need for additional fertilization. The substrate is characterized by balanced parameters – a pH of 6–7 provides an optimal environment for succulents and cacti, while low salinity (< 2 g) protects delicate roots. The product has been approved for marketing by the Ministry of Agriculture (P-1229/22), confirming its safety for humans, animals, and the environment.
