Opis produktu
Opis produktu
Westland Citrus Potting Mix is a specially formulated mix that ensures good drainage and contains a starting dose of balanced nutrients, which translates into healthy plant growth. The mix is enriched with Seramis granules, which help retain nutrients longer in the potting mix. This provides plants with the right nutrients and provides them with better conditions for growth. When repotting citrus trees, it's recommended to choose a slightly larger pot with adequate drainage holes and cover the bottom of the pot, for example, with broken pottery pieces, to ensure good drainage. Then, place a layer of the prepared potting mix on the bottom of the new pot, and carefully remove the plant from the old pot and transfer it to the new one. Fill the space around the rim with citrus potting mix, covering the upper roots with about 2 cm of fresh potting mix. After repotting, water the plant well and place it in light shade for a few weeks to allow the plant to develop new roots. It's best to water citrus plants generously as needed, preferably with rainwater. Avoid submerging the plant's roots in water. Spraying the plants daily with water will keep them cool and improve pollination. Citrus plants are very voracious and require regular feeding during the growing season. Westland citrus substrate contains all the nutrients the plant needs for the first 5-6 weeks. From March to October, it is recommended to regularly feed the plants with Westland specialized citrus fertilizer, which will promote better growth and abundant fruiting. For best results, keep citrus plants at a minimum temperature of 10°C and avoid direct sunlight for the first three weeks after transplanting. In winter, keep the plants in a cool, frost-free place, and in summer, move them outdoors as soon as the risk of frost has passed. According to product reviews, Westland citrus substrate + seramis 4 liter is a fantastic product.
